Devastating satire on the British upper classes, the 14th Earl of Gurney fresh from an insane asylum claims his inheritance. Gurney believes himself to be Jesus Christ - is contrasted with the rest of the family's sane evil. He finally is "cured" and becomes a blood thirsty Tory who is therefore sane and eminently acceptable to the house of Lords.
